When you move on from a career as a Limited Company contractor, it’s easy to think that you can just close the door and move on. But you may still need to be completing a self assessment tax return and could benefit from IR35 insurance to cover your past contracts, so retaining the support of an accountant is a must.

Our Personal Tax Service is designed with former Limited Company Contractors in mind. You’ll still be covered for tax and IR35 investigations, your personal tax return will be done for you, and you’ll be able to contact your accountant whenever you need to, be that for advice on investments, buy to let properties or general tax planning guidance. All this for just £24+VAT per month

  • Tax return – If you’re earning over £100,000 or you’ve been asked to do so by HMRC, you will still need to submit an annual tax return. We will complete and submit a basic tax return for you.

  • Tax and IR35 insurance – HMRC can investigate your contracting affairs up to 4 years after you close your company. Our Fee Protection Cover and IR35 protection insurances cover you from additional costs incurred with an HMRC enquiry (including IR35 enquiries) with £100,000 of cover provided by Abbey Tax.

  • Legal Helpline – As part of your insurance cover, you’ll also have access to a legal helpline covering business health and safety, employment and legal advice line provided by a team of qualified solicitors and barristers 24-7.
