I've been with Aardvark for two years now and the service has been consistenly excellent. My experience is that Aardvark are proactive in helping me to manage my accounts and reporting. The other thing I really like about Aardvark's service is the inclusion of relevant insurance products in the monthly charge - for me this also means the service is very cost effective.

I was really nervous signing up for a remote online accountant, rather than an old-school accountant that I can sit down with and talk through my accounts. And having set up my Ltd already, we ran into a few problems when transitioning my accounts to Aardvark. They came exactly from the place that several people handled my account and important things got lost between hand-overs. However, Louisa and the team have been incredibly quick to sort things out and get me set up for success. And the longer I've been with them, the more of that personal connection we have built, despite having a few people look after my accounts. I set-up my limited company with Aardvark who worked very rapidly to help me get started as I was against the clock to start my first contract. I opted to take the insurance through Aardvark as well as with insurance, free agent, and the accountancy advice I find the rates pretty reasonable. I've been happy with the service generally, payroll was run on time, I was prompted to consider tax matters, and found Aardvark to be responsive and quick in communicating. I would happily recommend their services.

I recently decided to go permanent again after 12 years of contracting (mainly due to the new IR35 legislation ☹️) so was looking to close my Ltd company. I was with another accountancy company where Louisa was assigned my accountant until she left. Finding that she started up a new accountancy firm I contacted them and was delighted when I spoke to one of their accountants called Zohaib. He explained the whole process of company closure in a simple way that even I could understand and what my options were. They also provided a much cheaper quote than my previous accountant for closing my company down. On signing up Zohaib was assigned my accountant. The service I got from Zohaib was excellent throughout the whole closure process and he kept me updated on all the various stages. Aardvark Accounting offers the best value for money service on the web for contractors managing their own Ltd companies. I started using their services 18 months ago after my initial accounting firm raised their prices even further and I could not justify the increase. Aardvark are run by a friendly team of individuals that are always on hand to deal with any query I have no matter how big or small. I have recently upgraded my package deal to 'contractor plus' which conveniently includes all the insurance requested by my latest contract (professional indemnity, public liability & employers liability).

I enlisted Aardvark to set up and act as accountants for my first Limited Company as a contractor. I'm a Sr. IT professional who just recently started my own company and since I had no previous accounting experience (I've been employed most of my life, where I never had to worry about such things) I was worried that whoever I'll have my accounting with, I may not understand something or that I would make a mistake, which we know can be fairly expensive when it comes to taxes. If you don't want to worry about your numbers, and the fact that you'll get a reliably responsive answer anytime you have questions matters to you, then you found the perfect accounting firm for yourself.

Having had a very poor experience with a previous Accounting Firm, I switched over to Aardvark halfway through my Tax year. This is a pain to do as it's not 'clean' and requires a lot of re-entering of details. However, Aardvark and each person I spoke with was very helpful and made the process more manageable explaining each element as I went along. FreeAgent, whilst being portable between Accountants as just one of it's key advantages, was also a breeze to use, both via the mobile app and via a browser. I'd highly recommend Aardvark (and have done to 2 other Directors that have signed up!) and have found all of those that I've communicated with over the past 9 months knowledgeable and explain things in an easy to digest fashion. I've also been impressed with the speed and efficiency of the service I've received, irrespective of which member of staff I deal with. I've been with Aardvark Accounting for a couple of years having moved from a more expensive accountant. For someone that has little knowledge (or interest) in the administrative aspects of running a company I have found Aardvark to be incredible patient and understanding in helping me through the necessary returns and payments. The Freeagent application is straightforward and easy to use and any questions about its use are quickly answered. I've been with Aardvark Accounting for 1.5 years and I think they are absolutely great. The communication is outstanding, I get personal service and all my questions answered almost immediately. I don't think I ever had to wait for response for longer than a couple of hours from the time i sent an email. In addition, you can always talk to them on the phone, no long phone queues and always very knowledgable and helpful stuff. They provide quite good and reasonably intuitive accounting software for web and mobile, so quite easy to do my day-to-day accounting. I have requested reference letters several times and always received very quickly and with all necessary details. Price of course is good as well.
